TESTIMONIALS
Just a quick email to thank you for the wonderful standard of service and delivery La-Vere College of Hospitality recently provided Redeemer Lutheran College Year 12 Hospitality students and staff. Kate Wilkinson and myself were very impressed with your competitive prices and the ability of your company to be flexible and willing to deliver the units of competency, at the times most appropriate to our time table.
We found you to be very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and accommodating and we were also very impressed by the industry standard quality of delivery, by the trainer Philip Lavery. Phillip ensured the students were on task and engaged in the relevant activities he presented. Phillip had and imparted, an extremely high level of information regarding industry expectations, which will continue to serve us all in good stead as we continue in our experiences of working and training in the Hospitality industry.
We have been extremely happy with the service and standard of delivery provided by La-Vere College and will have no hesitation in recommending you and your business to our peers and colleagues at other schools.
We look forward to working with you again in the near future and wish your business every success, as you continue to expand and develop.

"On behalf of the six Hospitality teachers from schools in the Toowoomba region I would like to take this opportunity to thank Vic Lavery and the La-Vere College of Hospitality for the professionalism demonstrated in their RPL and up-skilling process which enabled us to all receive our Certificate II in Hospitality.
A day was spent with Vic where qualifications were reviewed, accompanied with relevant discussions, demonstrating to Vic our capabilities to deliver a Cert II in Hospitality to our students. This all occurred in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere allowing the process much less daunting than we had all anticipated. Vics shout ot cappuccinos from the local Coffee Shop at half-time enhanced our spirits even higher. (Good tactic Vic)
I have no hesitation in recommending Vic and La-Vere college for not only the RPL and upskilling of teachers but also as a possible choice for the delivery of short courses including some of the competencies to students."

SUNSHINE COAST TEACHERS HOSPITLAITY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Twelve Home Economics teachers from local Sunshine Coast Secondary Schools recently participated in a 3 day program offered by La-Vere College of Hospitality. The aim of the program was to update staff Certificate 11 in Hospitality qualifications as demand for this program grows in schools. Even as qualified teachers it is imperative to maintain knowledge of current trends in Hospitality as the Hospitality and Tourism industry sectors are major employers on the Sunshine Coast.
In order to be able to deliver highly professional and up to date industry practices to students the teachers honed their Food and Beverage skills carrying loaded drink trays, multiple plates , taking orders, making coffees etc .
While Phill Lavery covered all aspects of the Core and selected Elective units during the 3 day program, Vic was kept busy reviewing participants RPL forms and advising on industry experience requirements. The event was hosted by Meridan State College and teachers from Mountain Creek SHS, Beerwah SHS and Siena Catholic College were able to experience the value of having a fully functional commercial kitchen and cafe facilities on site.
Although it is an extremely busy program all staff enjoyed their 3 days and we would encourage anyone to take advantage of the service offered by La-Vere College.
