RECOGNISED SHORT COURSE & VET
La-Vere College offers secondary students the opportunity to complete a VET Certificate I, Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality or commencing in 2009 students may undertake the Hospitality Foundation Studies in years 11 and 12. All courses are eligible for credits points towards the Queensland Certificate of Education giving students who prefer a practical work oriented education more options to complete their certificate.
Hospitality Foundation Studies
La-Vere’s Hospitality Foundation Studies is a 3 phase Program providing real skills required by the industry, 80 hours of paid employment in a hospitality workplace and straightforward pathways to VET Certificate 2, Traineeships / Apprenticeships in Hospitality or tertiary study for Diploma in Event Management and Degree in Tourism and Hospitality.
