This five day short course covers all aspects of working behind a bar and providing table service in a licensed premise. It covers hygiene skills (identifying chemical, biological, and physical hazards and risk prevention), legislative requirements pertaining to the service of alcoholic beverages, identifying underage and intoxicated patrons and refusing service, providing advice on beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, preparing espresso coffee and cleaning the equipment, clearing and cleaning empty glassware, preparing the bar and tables, interacting with customers, and cash register operations.
On completion of this Bar Course expand your skills by undertaking our Mixology & Cocktail Course or for more specialist knowledge enrol in our Wine Knowledge & Appreciation Course.
